How we started to sell gold jewellery

I have always been interested in making jewellery. When I was a little girl, I made necklaces from thread, dried fruit and chestnuts. I gave them to children I liked most. When I was a secondary school student, I met Frank. He was a quiet guy and he seemed boring at first. I did not suspect at that time that he might be artistically gifted. But then I met him at the crafts centre where he was trying to sell his little sculptures and I realised that we had something in common after all. Soon we started making jewellery and selling it in town. It was jewellery made of beads and caps, of course. Today we sell gold jewellery to teenagers and adults alike. We only use second-hand jewellery or scrap gold to make our own necklaces, earrings and bracelets. Of course, we add our own details as well: gemstones such as agates or malachites or miniature paintings that Frank makes. It was not easy to get customers at first. But we only needed to appear at an art and crafts fair a couple of times to be remembered by some experienced jewellery sellers. We sell gold to them now, and they sell it to their customers at their shops. Of course, it is possible to purchase our products through our internet website as well. We actually became really popular in this way.
