Diet plans for kids
What to feed your child so that he or she stays smart for long years? Is there a type of food that triggers intelligence development or helps memorize things better? Of course, there is. First of all, base the diet plans on whole grains. Rice, cereals, wholemeal bread all contain a lot of vitamin B6, zinc and iron which have a positive effect on brain functioning. Fat is also important. Choose healthy fatty acids such as omega-3, which can be found not only in fish, contrary to common beliefs, but also in walnuts and flax seed. Make sure there are sources of this marvellous fat in your child"s meals. Green leafy vegetables are also extremely important. We have already mentioned vitamin B6, but what about B9, also called folic acid? It plays a similar role, so you have to make sure your child eats something green every day. Organic fruit and vegetables are necessary for brain functioning, too, especially broccoli, carrots, and all kinds of berries. Healthy diet plans will not only help your child develop intelligence, which is extremely important during his/her childhood and teenage years, but will also improve memory skills. In this way, your son or daughter will be able to remember much more information in a short period of time.
