The third edition of the already well known contest for the best idea for the outlook for the averse of gold bullion was organized. This time the subjects were the children from the first catholic school of Amsterdam, kids at age from ten to thirteen years. It should be added at this point that the most of this school pupils is stated by girls. Female students tend to be the majority, they have already outnumbered boys. That is a tendency that is observed for a long time already. Anyway, the authorities have come up with such an idea as they do every year, before the bullion coins are struck. They don"t have the idea what to place on the averse side of the bullion coins so they leave it in the gesture of children, whose reserves of imagination seem to be endless. This time the outcome of the contest was a bit easier to guess! What could it be if the majority of pupils are girls? Of course - a heart! And a heart it is, from now on, the coins struck this year will carry a symbol of love on the averse. Both the kids and the authorities have the right to be proud of themselves because such initiatives attract people. It is a big attraction to children who somehow feel important thanks to this.
